Caitlin Sullivan
For Kenmore City Council
Hi, I’m Caitlin (kat-lynne). I’m a long-time Kenmore resident with decades of experience working in all aspects of housing. Not only has our system failed to provide basic needs to our low-income and most vulnerable residents; it is failing to meet the needs of our middle-income households as well. As the fabric that connects our goals when it comes to budget, climate, transportation, homelessness, equity, walkability, small businesses and schools, reforming the way we approach housing isn’t just about providing homes, it’s about creating an equitable and sustainable future for our entire community.
Washington Housing Attainability Index
“Homeownership is unaffordable for 80% of Washington families…ensuring housing for all income levels is crucial for an equitable economic landscape.”
National Low Income Housing Coalition
“Where we live shapes everything—our health, our education, our job prospects. And right now, too many people are locked out of that opportunity.”
UC Berkley Cool Climate Network
“Infill housing is probably the single most impactful measure that cities could take to reduce emissions.”
